My very 1st car!
At long last, I am writing again... And this time I have interesting to write about! To my delight and surprise really, I bought a car. My very 1st car (that is bought with my own money) and it's such an important milestone in my life.
I got myself a Honda Jazz, black in colour, with black and red leather seats. It's not exactly fast, only a 1.4ltr engine, 82 bhps and it's a super mini. Well, I choose the car because of it's enormous headroom, folding seats, egronomic yet sporty design and best of all, an Auxiliary port for my IPod.
Now ask me if I am excited about it... To be honest, I'm not really sure. I don't know what to feel, on one hand, I am happy for myself. On the other, I feel like I am spending a lot of money and i feel a bit uncomfortable about it. However, I'm sure I will enjoy myself very much with a car.
Now take a good guess who my 1st passenger will be... :)

Blog Time!
You know... it took me a while to get myself motivated to sit down and write this blog. I mean, it's been such a long time since I've wrote it, I almost forgotten I've got such a blog! Nah... I was kidding. I was in the office early today because some contractors are coming in to do some renovations to the office and I was the designated one to come and open the door for them. And in fact, after I got home, I've been lazing around thinking about what to do for the rest of the day. I do have things on my agenda, things like getting a haircut, going through my mails and letters, cleaning up my room, but I just couldn't be bothered. And therefore, I ended up writing. It occured to me that it's been more than 2 months since I've written anything and I should spend sometime here.
Ok, let's get down to business and tell you what's happening around me. I was going to tell you about the business trip I made up to China, Shenzhen, a couple of weeks ago, but I decided against it. Sadly because it's just plain boring, and I will spare you the pain of trying to dig your eyeballs out.
I can however tell you more interesting stuff like... ... ... Bloody Hell... there's really nothing very interesting to say.
Oh wait a min! I've got it!
I attended a BBQ organised by some of the ladies from SPH (Singapore Press Holdings) just last week. It was meant to be a party to celebrate a colleague of theirs and my birthday, which incidentally happens to be next thursday!! LOL... Well, it was good fun, the party, and we had alcohol going around and everyone was enjoying their food and each other's company. We didn't manage to finish the food, because there was enough to feed a battalion! And after most of the people left, we adjourned upstairs to my friend's apartment. We had more drinks and we actually got pretty high, while playing card games and making silly jokes. Nothing happened.
Ok!! Onwards!! Next story...
The only really interesting stuff going on in my life now are cars and booze. Sounds like a good old american rebel, with a bottle of beer in his hands and driving his american muscle car into the sunset ey? Well... no. I've always been into cars and I am now planning to get one of my own. And I've got plenty of inspiration and motivation from watching all those Top Gear series. Top Gear is a british car program that is so popular, almost 2.5 billion people actually watch that show. You see... the show is very interesting, introducing new cars and old, testing cars and making a fool out of themselves. Watch it if you can, trust me, you will not regret it. As for Booze, I get plenty everyday. Some of you might think... "Why? Are you working for APB (Asia Pacific Breweries) now?" No no no... I haven't. I've been hitting the pubs so much more often that I used to. And it's great when you have good company along with you. I found out that the combination of friends you need to have a good time in a pub are:
1 x driver who does not drink,
2 x people who sprouts nonsense and drink,
2 x people who drinks then sprouts nonsense,
1 x rich man who doesn't mind buying a couple of rounds (optional)
... and last but not least
1 x good band that plays good music.
Ah!! There you go! A whole bunch of rubbish that I've spent a little more than 45 mins typing. ;-) In any case... it's time for me to get something else done now. Take care and talk to you soon!

Back in Singapore!!
Back in Singapore, back home and back at work finally. However, I'm already in the midst of planning for my next trip to China and India in August and September respectively. This melbourne trip has turned out to be really fruitful, it hurt my pockets a little but I'm happy with my haul this time round. Got a couple pairs of shoes, handful of polo t-shirts and quite a bit of DVDs. Ah ah ah... before you say "must be pirated ones". They are not, they are all originals, but just a bit old. Movies like Chocolat and Tomb Raider 1 & 2 are movies produced within 10 years ago. Well, I got 11 pieces at drop dead prices and I'm pretty happy with the buy.
The other thing I am happy with is the fact that I actually got someone to teach me how to play a guitar! I'm not a good student thou, only managed to learn cords from A - G and switching between cords are frets are a nightmare for me! My fingers are not very long and pretty thick and so it's pretty difficult to get to certain cords. So I've kinda developed a technique that suits my thick and stubby fingers and it seems to work. I think my next investment would be to get an acoustic guitar and start practicing. You know what they say, with practice comes... ... ... errmmmm... whatever they say lah! As long as I put in enough hours in practicing, I should be able to play well pretty soon. That's hopefully before I forgotten all the cords. Then my teacher will probably kill me. Hee hee... ;)
When I got into the office today, I half expect my desk to be messy and my food corner empty. But surprisingly, it wasn't! my desk looks neat (just the way I left it) and my food corner seems to have grown. Hmm... someone has been adding stuff to my collection. Hee hee... But alas, I cannot be reaching into the food corner as I have to start changing my diet plans to a more non-carbo diet. Too much good food in Australia, but it's good to know someone else has put on a couple of pounds as well, right Coco?? ;) Well... work is pretty hectic today. I had 198 unread emails today, and luckily, I managed to squeeze sometime out to write this journal entry. But I guess the time is almost up for me to head back into the emails again.
So... take care, have fun and I'll talk to you soon.
Cherio!
